What is our life?

Oneself cannot define what is our life really mean in common. But let me define what I believe and what I have experienced as of now.
Our life has mixture of everything so that different people can define differently but let me share what our life is to me...
Our life forms a web and we cannot stand alone and at the same time we cannot totally depend and rely on others.
BE YOURSELF...
We cannot trust any one ultimately;
There are various types of people in this world; viz; rich, poor, simple, humble, kind, cruel, harsh, ugly, handsome, beautiful, physically handicap, mentally disable etc. There are different kinds of works we the people can do and when we work, we have to mingle with different kinds of people and also we have to work under different leadership. When we work some works to be done in groups, some in partnership and some in alone.
When we work we the people show two faces, one in front of us and other in the absence of us. So for that we have to be very careful to trust immediately and follow them. Since the group work might have done with different intention or with pre-planned.

We cannot say that nothing will happen to us when we are comfortable but one day something misfortunes will knock us automatically. Again if we are too simple, humble and patient also there will be some one who is going to harm us, torture us and spoil us.
If we know how to drive well, but we cannot say there won't occur any accident, the other person may come and hit us and then we will also be in problem, we don't have to create problem.

Simple and humble people are always tortured on behalf of others too and poored ones anger on them.
How full we the simple people have right also there is no use of claiming our rights to get justice, so finally we  will be in looser. Powerful people cannot be defeated by the laws and the rules too. Where is the place for us to share our problems and who is there for the simple people to solve their problems?

For example: I am a simple teacher from poor back ground who is very simple. At the same time, I also have  many misfortunes in my life like; i had a car accident in 2010 and my wife had a severe head injury and after that my manager took advantage of my simplicity and tortured me a lot in the school. Then even if i have lots of problems, since i am a teacher and i thought laptop is the must and then i bought one laptop for Loan for two years. When I was using the laptop to carry our the school activities, somebody had smeshed it in the staffroom and i reported to the school authority and no demn to solve this problem, then reported to police and Dzongkhag education office and yet not solve, then reported to Dzongdag and too not solve and finally instead of solving the laptop case, i will be transferred immediately and the laptop case is now referred to court. WHO IS SUFFERRING FINALLY?...

Life in Radhi MSS

Present Academic block with 12 units

The school is located 27 km from T/gang and about 200 metres from Radhi market. It was established in late 1960s as Primary school and later upgraded as lower secondary school and in 2010 only it has been upgraded to Middle Secondary school.
Let me describe the situations and the working systems of this school from that date that I have joined this school from 2007 till date.
For the first two years; it was a boarding school with around 500 students and I really enjoyed teaching profession. I really loved to work in this school because it has every facilities that we are supposed to get and the staff and the students were really working towards the better education. Principal was also really hard working and who always concerned about the academic and the welfare of the students and staff.
But from 2009, the school system totally changed; 2009 till Mid year the school was so calm and cool without any problem but from mid year then problems started in school.
I won't mention all the problems but let me describe the working atmosphere of this school there after in general;
The real picture of this school from 2009 to 13-6-2012;
There were lots of misunderstandings and problems occurring frequently in the school. All the staff and the students have to live in tense situation all the time because what ever we do in the school all will turn into problem. what ever suggestions and initiatives we take in the school will turn into problems. For example; if we conduct meetings in the school for the betterment of the school and the students and if we have hot discussions and idea conflicts with school authority then all the talks will be reflected in the anonymous letter by describing the real situation of the meeting by keeping someone as author and will be pasted somewhere on some of the staffs' car or on the school walls. In the letter it will be mention all the dialogues and opinions expressed by all the staff which will defame staff and later then school authority will then read it to whole staff and try to find the culprit by conducting meetings and then as a result all were kept in tense situations. It will be then left unsolved and will be reminded every time and the suspected person will be targeted all the time and  then there will be no peace in his or her life there after. Thereafter, whatever hard work he/she does in the school be turning to negatives only.
A very minor problem will will grow if school authority comes to know and if that problem is solved within the staff and students then it will be put off or solved peacefully. In this school problem grows instead of solving. We should be always be cautious and be careful once we are in the school campus. We cannot share as we wish and cannot move as we wish because someone always plans to create problem in the school coinciding somebody's movements and the words shared to someone sometime ago in the form of jokes. Therefore, we cannot joke and share freely among ourselves since it will turn into serious later.
We even cannot tease or joke with lady staff later based on this matter we will be called to the office and charged with no reasons and we will be always targeted and will be waiting for a chance to charge.
When ever there is a conflict between the school authority and one of the staff, there will be definitely a written complain will be lodged to the higher authority anonymously which will again keep us in tension.
We cannot come to school before and after the school hours to work in the school because by seeing someone working in the school during the off hours; then someone will be create some problem like breaking the school properties coinciding with her/his stay time in the school.
Then later when problem comes school authority will try to find out culprit by pointing out who stayed during that period of time in the school, who was in the staff room and who used the computer etc.
In a day by any means one or two staff will be called to the office and tortured for no reasons for hours and hours by keeping them in standing. In the office all personal matters are being dealt instead of office matters. When someone is called to the office; he/ she is scolded by back biting about others with harsh works and actions.
But now after office ship is handed over to Vice principal on 13/6/12, school became the comfortable place to work. It became a very conducive teaching/learning environmental school. Every one is comfortably working in the school and as a result school is running smoothly. By now every one seems running to the school and walk home. Every thing is working and functioning smoothly and properly.

Teaching Profession to me...

Teaching profession is one of the most humble, simple profession among the professions. To take up this profession we have to die thousand times, think both black and white of this profession many times and then only go for it.
When we refer the teaching profession as simple and humble job, it doesn't mean that the works in this job are simple and humble but the teacher's living standard and its life as a whole it means but the works in teaching profession are beyond our expectation.
When the word teacher vibrates near the years of people in the past it was so great and respected persons in the society but now it became so cheap. Now when the word teacher sounds to the ears of people they just giggle and think so low.

Last Day of the CRP workshop...

It was on 25th of January, 2012 Wednesday right after the Chungipa Losar, it was declared as closing day of the workshop but we were given one assignment to be done on that day. Most of our friends were from Tashi Yangtse and many of them missed their Losar and also their family for 10 days and they were hurry to go home.

They were quite happy when our resource person frequently making call to NIIT person inquiring about the coming of money and when they response the sign of coming soon and they were kept waiting from morning till 2:30 pm.In the mean time madam was sharing on one of the software on time-tabling (FET) and it was very informative and found useful.

After that our resource person was chatting with her colloquies across the country about the participants payments and it was so funny that all the IT participants across the country were in same mood.

By the time 2:30 pm Madam stood up with her cell in vibration with smiling face saying that 'now i got the message'. That message was about that money deposited in her account. At that time some of our friends were in pants and shirts with carrying bags showed that they were ready to go. When madam exclaimed, 'now we got the money' then one of our participants called Mr.Cheki Gyeltshen (Janshari Principal) shouted and created a noise pollution and spread a laughing gas in the IT room and made all the participants in happy mood.

Then immediately started arranging the DSA for all the participants and started disbursing the payments for all the participants with respect to their distance.

After receiving their payment left the camp with smiling and bit farewell with happy mood.

Tomorrow on 24th January,2012 Tuesday is the very special day the eastern people in Bhutan. To them is the most auspicious day in a year because this day is the demarcation for the old year and the new year.
people get warm up for this day a week ago and celebrate for few days.

To mark this day people look for variety of meats Viz; phagsha pa(pork), norsha pa(beef), Ngakam(dry fish), ngalem(wet fish), other fresh vegetables and fruits. They look for varieties because if they get what ever we required in the life on that day will make a phosphorous life of that whole year. If they don't get some on that day shows that they will suffer to get that particular items on that particular year.

To mark the day; people get up early and prepare Thukpa(porridge), Ngaja(Tea), Suja(butter tea) and other snecks popularly known as zaw. They have it by 6 or 7 am and start preparing for lunch. The lunch will be much better than the normal menu. On that day the menu will be rice, pork, beef, chicken, wet fish, dhal etc. Some of the family even look for new cloths to we wore on that day.

Busy selecting the best ones

During the time of lunch; all family members and other relatives will get together, sit in the circle putting all the items in the circle. Start serving for with the eldest in the family and before they start eating the eldest will cite ,"Ya darig ae thamchen zoma shonang phewa, nge songangbu lekpa rang zomega rewa cha, ya... zayo" says that we are very happy that we all could meet together for this losar so hope for next year to meet like this year again.

Playing Degor

Then after lunch gents go for playing archery(national game of Bhutan), playing khuru, Degor etc while old men and women go for drinking ara(local wine), beer etc. some young girls go to archery ground for dancing and singing.
Towards the evening they form a group and go around singing for bagging ara(local ara) and ends the first day of the losar and with the little change in the pattern they will continue for next few days.
